1. Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of Entangleverse, provided by Entangleverse Inc. (part of VX Encryption, a North South Industries company) ("Entangleverse", "we"), including the website, your account, and the Entangleverse node software. By using Entangleverse you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Entangleverse.
2. Accounts
You sign in with your email and a TOTP authenticator. You are responsible for your account, your authenticator, and activity under your account.
3. Node software license
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Entangleverse node software for your own use. The software is licensed, not sold. You will not resell it, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or circumvent its security.
4. Self-custody: your keys and vault are yours
Your private vault, private keys, and seed are generated and held on your device. We never receive or store them. This means only you can access your vault, and if you lose your device, keys, or seed, we cannot recover or reset them for you. You are responsible for backing up your own keys and seed.
5. Prepaid credits
You may buy prepaid credits in US dollars through Stripe. Credits are prepaid access to Entangleverse services; they are not cash, not a deposit, and not redeemable for cash, and they are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated at purchase. We keep a credits ledger tied to your account.
6. Acceptable use
Use Entangleverse only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to breach security, access others' accounts or data, submit private keys or biometrics to our API (it will reject them), or use the service to infringe others' rights.
7. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own all rights in Entangleverse, including the software, the Entangleverse and VX Encryption names and logos, and related intellectual property, except your own content and keys.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENTANGLEVERSE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS RESULTING FROM YOUR LOSS OF YOUR OWN KEYS, SEED, OR DEVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and consumers may have non-waivable rights.
9. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms with notice and a new date. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in South Dakota have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
